FIR filed against Rahul Vaidya and Bhoomi Trivedi in Surat; details inside – Times of India

Bhoomi Trivedi and Rahul Vaidya’s recently released song, ‘Garbe Ki Raat’, has become a subject of a big controversy. Soon after the release of the video version, social media protests against the song began to spark up, especially among the Gujarati audiences, with many citing that the song is hurtful to religious sentiments.

The song, directed and choreographed by Rahul Shetty, supposedly carries an objectionable representation of lead Nia Sharma in the video for the folk wordings ‘Ramva Aavo Madi’ which has left all the devotees disappointed and hurt.

After Bhoomi Trivedi’s official statement shared on ETimes condemning the video representation, and Rahul Vaidya’s video acknowledgment and apology for the unintentional harm caused to the religious sentiments, people have demanded for the video to be taken down.

It also mentioned that Bhoomi Trivedi was unaware of the video’s visual concept and that she also apologized to the community once it was released. However, the FIR emphasizes and demands either taking down the video song from the youtube channel or banning the channel from the platform.
