Femina Miss India World 2022 Sini Shetty: I knew I was unique, but so were the other girls! – Times of India

Karnataka girl Sini Shetty realised her dreams as she was crowned Femina Miss India World 2022 recently. While she held the numero uno spot, Sini says that she was very unsure about the big win. She shares, “The competition was quite high. I am not going to lie, but I did feel that every contestant was unique in their own way. If one was charming, the other was attractive, and then there was someone who had the personality of a queen. Everyone was also talented, amazingly in their own way. I knew I was unique, but so were the other girls. Everyone had a fair chance. I am really glad that my efforts have come through and the crown is on my head today. I am really grateful about that.”

Sini who’s a student of finance says that the journey changed her as a person. Today, as she looks back see can see the change in her personality from the time she started to now. She elaborates saying, “The training helped me develop myself in to a better personality. It has helped me become a confident person. I also learnt a lot from the people who I met throughout the journey, like even my 31 sisters (co-contestants). I have learnt a little from everyone, and inculcated those values in myself. I must say that today I have become a better version of myself.”

She also thanks her mentors who taught her to do a confident walk and speak well. She shares, “You are never great at walking when you start. It was my mentor Alesia Raut who taught me all that. She is so good at it. Her walk leaves you mesmerised. Also, (Voice Crafting Expert) Monaz Ranina pushed me to speak confidently.”
