Fatima Sana Shaikh says she is a Shah Rukh Khan fan but Aamir Khan has given different films, talks about living in a rented house | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Fatima Sana Shaikh recently opened up about her favourite actors in Bollywood. The actress, who made her debut with Aamir Khan’s Dangal, said that she is a Shah Rukh Khan fan. However, she feels that Aamir has given different films to the audience.

“I am a Shah Rukh Khan fan, but I feel Aamir Khan has given us a lot of films like Rang De Basanti, PK, Peepli Live, all of these films are so different,” she said during an interaction with Humans of Cinema.

She also debunked the popular notion that actors lead a lavish lifestyle and reside in big houses. She recalled her humble beginnings and said that she comes from a very low middle class family.
She revealed that her family used to live in a 1RK on the ground floor which was a parking basement turned into a house. So coming from such place to living in a rented house, it has been a process of Fatima, which she is very proud of.

“At least I have crossed the milestones which I wanted to while I was struggling and I am still struggling. This process never stops and the struggle never ends,” she added.
Fatima further said that people change according to their needs and wants and one has to work for survival. “When you have luxury, enough financial safety, only then you can choose to do things that make you happy as an actor. But sometimes you don’t have that choice,” she added.

On the work front, Fatima will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur in which Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. She called Vicky the best actor of this generation and she really enjoyed working with him.
