Father-to-be Ranbir Kapoor’s video stating ‘want to work hard for my family’ goes viral as Alia Bhatt announces pregnancy – Times of India

During a recent press conference, Ranbir Kapoor was heard saying, “nahi nahi abhi mujhe bahut kaam karna hai sir. Abhi mujhe family banani hai, unke liye kaam karna hai. Pehle main khud ke liye kaam kar raha tha. Abhi main bahut kaam karunga. (No-no, I have to work a lot now. I want to make my family and work for them. Earlier I used to work for myself. Now I will work a lot.)

Currently, Ranbir Kapoor is going all out for the promotions of his upcoming action entertainer ‘Shamshera’. He will be seen essaying a double role in this movie. Speaking about the same, Ranbir had shared, “When the film was narrated to me, it wasn’t really offered to me as a double role. But when I heard the story, my immediate response to Aditya Chopra and Karan Malhotra was that let me play the father also It is such a great role, it is such an interesting, juicy part for an actor to play. Then, I really had to convince Adi and Karan. I think after that Karan did a couple of look tests and that’s when he got convinced also.” Apart from ‘Shamshera’, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen romancing Alia Bhatt onscreen in ‘Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva’. This sci-fi drama is slated for release on September 9, 2022.
