Farhan Akhtar’s stage collapses during dust storm in Indore; no casualties reported – WATCH – Times of India

Actor and singer Farhan Akhtar’s gig at a college festival hit a roadblock after the entire stage collapsed on Wednesday.
A viral video showed the stage come crashing down along with several other light and sound fixtures while parts of the state were hit with a dust storm. Videos of the stage collapsing were shared online and saw a bunch of people running towards the stage to check if anybody was caught under the scaffolding.

“Bhai kisi ko laga nahi hai na (Did anybody get hurt)?” A student was heard shouting in the clip.

Reports claim that no one was injured at the location.

Farhan was scheduled to perform live on-stage at the event on 5th and 6th April.

Besides performing live, Farhan is also currently busy looking for locations to begin shooting his upcoming directorial ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ with Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. The director was recently seen in the deserts of Rajasthan, scouting for locations to shoot the film. “Searching for gold #locationscout #jeelezaraa #rajasthan,” he captioned the post.

Written by Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar and Reema Kagti, the film promises to be another tale of friendship following the lineage of ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ and ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’.

‘Jee Le Zaraa’ marks Farhan’s return to director’s chair after over a decade. He had earlier helmed films like ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, ‘Don’ and ‘Don 2’.
