Farhan Akhtar scouts locations for Jee Le Zaraa, reveals he is ‘searching for gold’ – Times of India

Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa has been in the news ever since it was learnt that a casting coup has been pulled for it and the movie will star Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. However, not much has been known or written about the movie post then and it was even speculated that the project might have been shelved. However, earlier today, Farhan Akhtar put all rumours to rest by sharing that he is scouting for locations for the same.

Taking to his IG handle, Farhan posted a picture from Rajathan, where he could be seen standing on a sand dune, looking into the distance. He captioned the post ‘Searching for gold #locationscout #jeelezaraa #rajasthan”.
Many fans commented on the video, saying they are eagerly looking forward to this. “Can’t wait for this one,” one person wrote. “Jaldi jaldi karo Farhan,” wrote another fan. Alia Bhatt also commented on the post, saying, ‘Can’t wait’

While Priyanka, Katrina and Alia were said to have been roped in for the project from the start, none of the stars have opened up about their role in the coming of age drama. The movie is said to be loosely based on the premise of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, with a female cast. The Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Kalki Koechlin, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar starrer was directed by Farhan’s sister Zoya Akhtar and is today, considered to be a cult classic.
