In a statement on Instagram, Farhan Akhtar wrote, “To my fans in Australia, due to unforeseen circumstances our band FarhanLive, has had to call off our Australia Tour. We will not be able to travel to Sydney and Melbourne this coming weekend. Please believe me when I say that we share your disappointment. However, I do hope to come to your beautiful country in the near future and perform for you. With Love, Farhan.”

As soon as he shared the post, fans reacted to the last-minute cancellation. While one fan wrote, ‘I was looking forward to meeting you’, another one added, ‘Was so excited for this. Hope all is well with you and the band. See you next time.’

On the work front, Farhan will be donning director’s hat once again for his upcoming film, ‘Jee Le Zaraa’. The film stars Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif who will be seen sharing the screen space in the film for the first time.

Apart from this, he is also producing ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’, a film starring Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Adarsh Gourav.
