Fikayo Tomori has blown Italian fans away by speaking their native language during a post-match interview just 13 months after signing for Serie A giants AC Milan.

The 24-year-old joined the Italian outfit on loan from Chelsea in January 2021 before making his move to the Serie A side permanent in the summer. 

He has played 29 games in all competitions for the Serie A leaders so far this season and shown his commitment off the pitch by learning to speak their language fluently.

Fikayo Tomori has shocked fans by speaking fluent Italian during a post-match interview 

Tomori was interviewed after AC Milan secured a 1-0 win over Napoli in their Serie A fixture on Sunday afternoon.

Tomori decided to demonstrate his commitment to the club by showing off his new language skills. 

He conducted the entire interview in Italian after spending the last 13 months learning the language.

During the interview he said: ‘[Victor] Osimhen is a really strong striker and fast too, Napoli are a strong side,’ He begun.

‘Today, Pierre [Kalulu] and myself and the entire defence played a great game. We’re happy but we still have 10 games left. We have to play like we played today and raise the bar too.’

Tomori responded to the footage of himself speaking Italian on social media by saying: ‘Not perfect yet… but I’m trying.’ 

Fans were amazed with Tomori’s ability to speak Italian. Many took to Twitter to praise the 24-year-old’s fluency.
