Exclusive! Ranbir and Alia are made for each other. Alia is such a lovely girl and I just adore her, says Neetu Kapoor when asked about their wedding – Times of India

One of the most-awaited weddings in Bollywood is around the corner and there is a lot of buzz around it. It has been reported that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to tie the knot on April 17 at RK Bungalow in Chembur. However, the couple, their families and friends have been fiercely guarded about the details of the wedding. Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor, who is making her debut on TV with Dance Deewane Juniors, too, is tight-lipped about the wedding of the year, which is unlike how things were when she tied the knot with Rishi Kapoor.

Ask her about the big day and she replies, “I would like to celebrate it and say it out loud. But kids today are different. I don’t know about the big day myself, as both are very private people. Kab kar lenge pata nahi. But hogi and I wish jaldi ho jaaye because I love them both. Alia is a lovely girl and I just adore her. She is a beautiful person, and they are made for each other. They are very similar.”

The veteran actress feels that Alia is as pure-hearted as Ranbir. She shares, “Ranbir is pure-hearted and uncorrupted. He sees everything in a positive way. He doesn’t harbour jealousy or ill feelings for anyone. I see the same quality in Alia. She feels no jealousy for anyone. They are confident and don’t have anything bad to say about anyone even if someone’s movie is doing well or is better looking. They appreciate everyone and that’s what I like about them. They are made for each other, and they complement each other.”

Neetu has often fondly spoken about ho her mother-in-law, Krishna Raj Kapoor, looked out for her and treated her more like a daughter. Does she share the same equation with Alia? “I hope I do when they get married and I want to. My relationship with my mother-in-law was outstanding. She loved me more than her son and I know it. We were friends and spoke about everything under the sun. In fact, I would complain about my husband to her (laughs!). We were very open. I hope I have the same equation with Alia because she is outstanding and amazing,” she answers.
