Exclusive: Hera Pheri 3 to have a “lovable” don like Welcome! Know more about the Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal starrer – Times of India

After a lot of speculations, Hera Pheri 3, seems to have finally fallen into place. The film’s franchise that boasted of star cast including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal was in news after it was reported that Kartik Aaryan would be replacing Akshay in the latest part. However, the film’s team got together recently to shoot a promotional video and it was cleared that the third instalment would reprise the original casting.
Now we hear, that apart from the lead roles, the team is looking at casting a don in the movie. The character is said to be quite an interesting one and hence all the energies are now at roping the right actor for the part.

A source associated with the project tells us, “It’s quite a crucial role. Something like what Feroz Khan’s character of a don added to Welcome. So, this one too will be a lovable don like RDX from that film.”
Unlike what was reported earlier, the movie will now be directed by Farhad Samji and not by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 director Anees Bazmee. The casting of the actresses in the film is underway.

Interestingly, the film’s third instalment was attempted back in 2016 when Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham were cast in the movie along with Shetty and Rawal. Though last time it couldn’t take off, we hope this time around it goes on floor and the shoot hits the finishing line soon.
