However, none of them has lashed Salman as hard as Somy, who’s levelled serious allegations against him.
Who is Somy Ali?
Somy Ali is a former Bollywood actress of Pakistani-American origin. She acted in a handful of movies between 1993 and 1997, but her career never took off. Her last Bollywood movie was the 1997 thriller Chupp that featured veterans like Jeetendra, Om Puri, and Mohan Joshi.
However, Somy Ali is mostly remembered as the love interest of Salman Khan. The two actors reportedly dated each other between 1991 and 1998, after which Somy returned to South Florida to complete her education. Interestingly, the two never featured on the screen together, though they were cast together once for a movie that got shelved.
Since their split, Somy has lashed out at Salman on several occasions. More recently, Somy Ali called Salman Khan a “male chauvinist pig” and a woman beater in a social media post that has since been deleted. Somy accused Salman of inflicting cigarette burns on her, sodomy, and physical abuse. She also called out the female actors who supported the partner actor, who she claimed had beaten several women.
