Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were returning home with Jeh when they were spotted by the paparazzi right under their building. Saif, who was carrying Jeh on his shoulders, was heading inside, when he was called to by Kareena Kapoor from behind, and the two shared a quick peck, line any married couple would. But the PDA didn’t go down well with a few caustic netizens who started trolling the couple for their kiss. Here’s some uncalled-for comments on Saif-Kareena’s kiss and ETimes fitting retort to them.

“Dikhawa kitna hi kra lo in bollywood walo se..”

Your attempt to take a generalised dig at Bollywood while criticizing Saif and Kareena’s gesture of love is grossly misplaced malice. Why would a couple, that’s been happily married for more than a decade resort to a public display of affection for no reason? In fact Saif and Kareena have always vouched for being a couple who have no qualms with having the spotlight on their relationship.

Some people like PDA and some don’t. To each his own. But those who don’t prefer to show love to their life partner in public spaces, cannot force their viewpoint on others. What you’re alluding to is a full-blown romantic kiss, which is not what Saif and Kareena shared. Their’s was a gesture of love done in the most subtle manner. If you found this offensive, there’s a problem in your perception.

We’re sure you’re a marketing genius who has got Saif-Kareena’s promotional strategy all figured out. What we would like to know is how this second-long peck between a husband and wife is going to help their Bollywood careers or their commerce? This so-called stunt is to grab extra attention through paparazzi? Perhaps it was to convince some filmmakers to cast them in a romantic film together? Please do bless us with your explanation. Both Saif and Kareena have been actors for almost three decades now. They’ve quite literally grown up in front of a camera. If they had to showoff, they very well know how to do it. Just Google their pictures on ant red carpet together. This wasn’t showoff, this was a plain and simple moment of affection. Pity that you’ve never found any love in your life to realise what’s genuine and what’s not.
