ENG vs IND: 2 wickets in two overs for Jasprit Bumrah, Jadeja sends back Moeen; England now six down

Pacer Jasprit Bumrah proved to be the game-changer for Team India again on Day 5 of the fourth Test against England as he took two wickets in his two consecutive overs to severely dent any hopes of England coming back into the game.

Ollie Pope was caught off-guard by the incoming delivery from Bumrah that shaped in just enough to go through his defense eas he played the wrong line and England had now lost two wickets after lunch as the match had started to slip away from them.

If it hadn’t till then, Bumrah ensured that it did in his next over with an absolute peach of a yorker to bamboozle Jonny Bairstow for a duck as the hosts had half their team back in the pavilion.

England had lost not one, not two but three wickets in space of a few overs. Ravindra Jadeja was like, why he should be away from all the fun?

Bowling from round the wicket, Jadeja induced Moeen Ali to play at a good length ball that bounced and took the inside edge straight into the hands of forward short-leg fielder Suryakumar Yadav, who pushed it easily.

From 141/2, the hosts slumped to 147/6 in space of six overs with both Bumrah and Jadeja getting one wicket each.

With that wicket of Pope, Bumrah also achieved 100 wickets in Test matches in just his 24th game.
