Emmy Awards 2022: All the winners in the main categories
Succession dominated the nominations for this year’s Emmy Awards and did not disappoint on the night, winning the most prestigious prize, best drama, for the second year running.
In another case of deja vu, Ted Lasso took best comedy, and its star Jason Sudeikis nabbed best comedy actor – just like last year – too.
Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae made history as the first Asian actor to win best actor in a drama series, while singer and actress Zendaya become the first black woman to win the Emmy twice in the best actress in a drama category, as well as being the youngest two-time winner of any Emmy.
