This week in New York City, temperatures finally hit the low 80s. Naturally, Emily Ratajkowski is already ready for the warmer weather. The model-author-podcaster was spotted on Thursday wearing a look straight out of the early 2000s.

Ratajkowski wore ballooning green cargo pants (low-rise, naturally), paired with a vivid blue halter top from Nia. What says “summer” better than a midriff-baring, colorful halter? She accessorized with her trusty Salomon sneaks, a Loewe shoulder bag, and cat eye sunglasses. The crunchy-chic shoe has become one of her go-to’s—, particularly the XT-6 style—and she’s worn them with everything from a sheer dress to slouchy trousers. She’s not alone, either: Rihanna and Bella Hadid are also fans. 

The model’s look is a perfect example of downtown, off-duty style. It’s not too dressed up, thanks to the baggy trousers and if-you-know-you-know shoes. But the flirty top adds some intrigue and, of course, a little bit of skin. Bring on the heat!
