Elon Musk visits Twitter office, says ‘let that sink in’
The tech billionaire said he would be visiting Twitter’s San Francisco office, two days before the court deadline to close the deal.
Musk posted a video on Twitter that shows him chuckling and carrying a sink as he enters the Twitter office. His video read, “Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!”

Musk changed his Twitter bio to Chief Twit in a not-so-veiled reference to him owning the microblogging platform now. He also tweeted saying, “Meeting a lot of cool people at Twitter today!”.
He also put out his latest views on Twitter, a sort of reiteration of what he has said before and is considered to be one his main motives to acquire the company: “A beautiful thing about Twitter is how it empowers citizen journalism – people are able to disseminate news without an establishment bias.”

He is expected to close the deal by October 28 and the company is expected to come under his ownership by 5 p.m. New York time, as lawyers and bankers on both sides race to finalise paperwork.
Earlier, Leslie Berland, Twitter’s chief marketing officer and head of people, sent a memo to employees Wednesday saying that
Musk was visiting the company’s headquarters this week, according to people who received the note.
“Elon is in the SF office this week meeting with folks, walking the halls, and continuing to dive in on the important work you all do,” Berland wrote in the memo. “For everyone else, this is just the beginning of many meetings and conversations with Elon, and you’ll all hear directly from him on Friday.”
