Azamat Murzakanov makes a statement on why he deserves another chance with the UFC in the Dana White’s Contender Series season premiere main event
Undefeated Azamat Murzakanov now has his second chance with the UFC after scoring a first-round knockout of Matheus Scheffel on the season five premiere of Dana White’s Contender Series.
Murzakanov put the fight away with a three-punch combination, ending with a right hand on the jaw that dropped Scheffel out cold.

Murzakanov had been booked to fight in the UFC in 2017 but was pulled from the fight and given. a two-year suspension by USADA.
Prior to tonight, Murzakanov last fought in November 2019, winning a four-man, one-night tournament in Brave CF.
