‘Drishyam 2’ sails through Monday, ‘Bhediya’ crashes with a 50 percent drop – Times of India
In its second week, ‘Drishyam 2’ has raked in around Rs 44 crore nett and should conclude the week with Rs 57-58 crore nett in its kitty. ‘Drishyam 2’ has been earning a lot of organic popularity and is expected to cross Rs 150 crore mark in the coming days, reports boxofficeindia. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, ‘Drishyam 2’ features Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta in lead roles.
Last Friday’s release ‘Bhediya’ has witnessed a huge drop in collection on Monday. The film plunged 50 percent, and earned just Rs 3.25 crore nett on its fourth day at the box office.‘Bhediya’ has earned around Rs 30 crore nett in the first four days and is expected to conclude its first week theatrical run with a total collection of Rs 38-39 crore nett. ‘Bhediya’ is helmed by Amar Kaushik and features Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead. Varun had recently visited a theatre to gauge the success of his movie.
