Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Drishyam 2’ continues to remain rock steady in its third week and fourth Friday despite newer releases like ‘Bhediya’, ‘An Action Hero’ and ‘Salaam Venky’ which released yesterday. The film continues to remain rock steady as it reaches its fourth Friday.

The third week collection of the film up till Thursday was 31.50 crore as per trade website boxofficeindia.com. The Friday collection was 2.25 crore which was higher than Thursday. This takes the total collection of the film so far to 193.50crore nett and it will be expected to cross the numbers of Sooravanshi (195.5 crore) by the end of Saturday.

‘Brahmastra’ had crossed 230 crore nett in Hindi and that’s a number which is unlikely to surpass so ‘Drishyam 2’ will end up at second position. Meanwhile, next week sees the release of ‘Avatar 2’ followed by ‘Cirkus’ hence, ‘Drishyam 2’ will see a drop. A number of 215-220 crore can be expected to be the film’s lifetime collection.

This fourth Friday collection of the film comes second to the collection of ‘KGF 2’ post pandemic. Now one waits to see if the big Christmas release, ‘Cirkus’ which is a Rohit Shetty film can cross the numbers of Shetty’s previous ‘Sooryavanshi’.
