‘Drishyam 2’ box office collection day 8: Ajay Devgn starrer scores a total of Rs 110 crore nett – Times of India

‘Drishyam 2’ raked in around Rs 7.50 crore nett on its eighth day, witnessing a drop of only 10 percent. This drop is due to loss in screen count as Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s horror drama released on Friday. At the end of eight days, the total business of ‘Bheidya’ stands at over Rs 110 crore nett. ‘Drishyam 2’ is looking at a strong weekend ahead as the film has recorded a very good advance booking for Saturday and Sunday. While the business looks positive even in weekdays, it remains to be seen if ‘Drishyam 2’ can beat the numbers of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and cross Rs 200 crore nett. Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, ‘Drishyam 2’ also features Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta

Pos the success of ‘Drishyam 2’, director Abhishek is looking forward to his next projects. He had told ETimes, “I have a couple of scripts already in place. I’m thinking what to take next. I need to put my brain to it because after delivering this one, I want to take a story which is loved by people and accepted the way this one was received.”
