Draymond Green claims he received DEATH THREAT from a fan during Warriors’ defeat at Milwaukee Bucks

Furious Draymond Green claims he received a DEATH THREAT from a fan during Warriors’ defeat at Milwaukee Bucks after stopping the game to get man ejected by security… as he admits he was ‘close to diving on him’

During the third quarter of the Golden State Warriors’ loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, multi-time All-Star Draymond Green had a fan thrown out of the arena after claiming the fan made a death threat against him as Giannis Antetokounmpo took a foul shot.

Following the game Green told reporters that the fan made a threat against his life and that he nearly dove into the crowd before informing the referee of what was said.

‘Uh some threatening stuff to my life,’ Green said when a reporter asked what the fan had said to him. ‘So you know, I was this close [as holds his fingers close together] to diving back and like diving all the way in.’

‘But just went back and told the official. And when I told the official what he said, he was like ‘oh, he got to get out of here.’ Then he gotta get out of here.’ A smile appeared across Green’s face as he finished the sentence, grasping his hands together in satisfaction.

Green would further comment on the matter as another reporter asked if he liked that being able to get a fan was an option, following an incident that saw Green fined was fined by the league for arguing with a fan.

‘I can’t necessarily say that hasn’t been an option. That’s kind of been an option,’ Green said.

The moment was reminiscent of both the 2021 incident that saw LeBron James stop a game in Indiana and demand that two fans be removed from courtside, as well as the 2019 incident that saw Russell Westbrook tell a fan ‘I’ll f*** you up… you and your wife.’

This comes only a week after Westbrook was involved in an argument with a different Bucks fan sitting courtside.

‘When obscene gestures and language come into it, (it) can’t be tolerated,’ James told reporters after the incident had occurred last year.

‘There’s a difference from cheering for your team and not wanting the other team to win and things I would never say to a fan, and they shouldn’t say to me.’

James also had four fans removed from a game in Atlanta in February of 2021, after they also became vulgar with him.

The Bucks fan that Westbrook argued with recently was initially escorted out of his seat but was eventually allowed to return courtside according to WDJT-TV.

‘We don’t have to talk about it,’ Westbrook said postgame. ‘I’ll figure it out with the league. Just respect for the game.

‘Sometimes, obviously, things get said throughout the game and just being respectful is the thing I stand on. I don’t mind people coming to the game and heckling and different things, but there’s a certain line you don’t cross and I feel like it crossed it. I’ll handle it and move forwards.’

He made similar comments after the 2019 incident when he said: ‘For me, I’m just not going to continue to take disrespect for my family.

‘I just think there’s got to be something done. There’s got to be some consequences for those type of people that come to the game just to say and do whatever they want to say. I don’t think it’s fair to the players — not just to me, but I don’t think it’s fair to the players.’
