Late in Thursday night’s NFL Draft first round, football supermom Donna Kelce was drafted into a cringey skit with content creators ‘Dude Perfect’ to promote YouTube’s acquisition of the popular Sunday Ticket package.

In the penultimate pick of the draft, the Philadelphia Eagles pick was announced by Donna in front of a Kansas City crowd that just watched one of her sons, Travis, win them their third Super Bowl title.

Her other son, Jason, was on the losing end of that title matchup – as his Philadelphia Eagles team came up just short.

Before she announced the pick, where Philadelphia took Nolan Smith out of Georgia, the group took part in a cringe-inducing sketch that involved a large fake coin and a forced promotion of the product.

‘Miss Donna, I got a question for you, when you’ve got both boys playing in a game on TV at the same time… how in the world do you decide which game you’re gonna watch?,’ one of the members of Dude Perfect asked.

‘Man, I don’t know that’s really tough – it’s really tough to choose,’ Donna replied.

At that point, someone from the Dude Perfect team produced a large fake coin as a ‘solution’ to her problem with an image of Travis on one side and Jason on the other ‘to help you break the tie’.

‘If your boys are playing at the same time, all you have to do is flip it and it takes the decision out of your hands,’ the sketch continued.

The coin landed on Travis, much to the delight of the crowd and to the dismay of the TV audience watching this happen.

After the coin flip, the content creators then tried to promote Youtube’s recent acquisition of the popular ‘Sunday Ticket’ package – where Donna wouldn’t have to choose between watching either of her boys playing.

But those watching on ESPN or ABC heard the ‘Worldwide Leader in Sports’ play their ‘draft chime’ over the promotion.

It could be a coincidence, but ESPN’s parent corporation – the Walt Disney Company – was bidding for the Sunday Ticket package and lost out.

After spending years as part of satellite television provider DirecTV’s packages, Sunday Ticket went up in a bidding war. The package allows subscribers to watch every NFL game, including those that are out of market – making it a crucial tool for sports fans who have moved out of their hometowns to follow their local teams.
