Vicky Kaushal’s performance of Major Vihan Shergill in ‘URI’ earned him his first National Film Award in 2019. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film also featured Yami Gautam and Mohit Raina in pivotal roles. Vicky’s next venture is ‘Sam Bahadur’ wherein in essays the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. He also has Shashank Khaitan’s ‘Mr Lele’ co-starring Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar. Vicky was set to join forces with Aditya Dhar yet again for superhero action film ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’, however the project has been shelved for now.

Apart from his movies, Vicky is hitting headlines for his real life romance with Katrina Kaif. ETimes had exclusively confirmed that the couple is planning to tie the knot in December at a glorious fort in Rajasthan. Vicky and Katrina had a hush-hush roka ceremony last week on Diwali day. The couple has been in a relationship for a couple of years now but has refrained from spilling the beans on their romance.
