Priya Bapat has successfully created a name for herself in the Marathi industry. She has also been a part of some Hindi movies and is now popularly known for her web show ‘City Of Dreams’.
In an interview with a news portal, Priya spoke about her early years of life when she lived in a chawlin Mumbai. She revealed that she has spent almost 25 years of her life in a chawl in Dadar.She stayed there till the time she got married. The actress added that right from celebrating Diwali together to playing games with her friends during childhood days, this chawl has given her a lot of memories.

Elaborating further, she shared that the specialty of this chawl was, all the houses on a floor were connected to each other internally through doors. So it was easily possible to go from one house to another without getting out of the house. This system kept all the families on the floor connected to each other. According to her, the apartment system has created distance between people. She concluded by saying that even though she lives in a luxury apartment now, her ‘first love’ is chawl.

Priya was seen playing a small role in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Munna Bhai MBBS‘ starring Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi. She is popularly known for her performance in Marathi film ‘Kaksparsha’ back in 2012.
Most recently, she was last seen in the web series ‘Rafuchakkar’ starring Maniesh Paul.
