Dharmendra recalls Jaya Bachchan crushing on him during ‘Guddi’ shoot | Hindi Movie News – Times of India
Speaking about reuniting with Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra recalled how Jaya Bachchan had a huge crush on him during ‘Guddi’ days and would apparently hide behind the sofa when he was on the sets.He told Zoom, “This is her love and respect speaking. I’ve known Jaya and Amitabh for a very long time now. I still remember the fun times that we had while shooting for Sholay.” He stated that he enjoyed shooting during those days and outdoor scheduled were like picnics. Dharmendra stated that the shoot experience of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ was quite similar to that and the entire unit felt like one big family.
Back in 2021, Dharmendra had shared a priceless throwback from the sets of ‘Guddi’, when he began shooting with Jaya Bachchan for KJo’s film. He had captioned it, “Barson baadh….. Apni Guddi ke saath….. Guddi….. jo kabhi badi fan theyn meri…. A happy news.”
