Dharmendra and Hema Malini carry young Esha and Ahana Deol on their shoulders in this priceless throwback picture – See post – Times of India

While Hema is seen carrying Esha, Ahana is seen sitting on daddy Dharmendra’ shoulders. Both the young girls are seen looking pretty as a peach in their frocks. Along with the lovely picture, Dharmendra wrote, ‘Today is the a celebration of the girl child. So proud to have my two daughters in my life. #daughter #celebration #girlchild’

As soon as the veteran actor shared the post on his Instagram handle, comments started pouring in from all sides. Amongst all, the one that especially caught our attention was that from none other than Esha herself. Taking to the comment section, she wrote, ‘Love & respect @dreamgirlhemamalini @aapkadharam’

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Esha had opened up about growing up with Bollywood superstars as parents. She said, “Yes, my parents are superstars. They are legends but both of them have been excellent in bringing us up in a humble and down to earth manner with a lot of discipline, sanskaar and respect towards our elders. I give them the complete credit of giving us a normal childhood. Even in the school that they sent us, we were treated all normally and not as star kids. I travelled in rickshaws. I played a lot of sports back then. We had to go to these tournaments at various places in our country so we all travelled by train. People who know me today know that I can be as normal as I can be.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Esha was last seen in ‘Ek Duaa’. She will next be seen in ‘Rudra: The Edge of Darkness’ co-starring Ajay Devgn. Dharmendra, on the other hand, will next be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The film will also star Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in lead roles.
