Dhanush is awaiting the release of his bilingual film ‘Vaathi’ which is set to release in theatres in February 2023. Meanwhile, the actor’s next trilingual project with director Sekhar Kammula went on floors today, November 28 after a muhurat pujah in Hyderabad. A couple of months back, director Sekhar Kammula officially announced that he is going to team up with Dhanush for his next film. The film will be shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

The production house took to Twitter to share the images from the muhurat pujah conducted today. Sharing the photos, the makers said, “The remarkable moment is here for the path-breaking combo superstar @dhanushkraja Director @sekharkammila Trilingual film launched today on a grand note with a pooja ceremony. Filming begins soon.”

Earlier today, Dhanush was spotted at the Hyderabad airport in casual attire, all masked up with long hair and a beard. It is speculated that the actor’s specific look is for the movie ‘Captain Miller’ that he is currently shooting with director Arun Matheswaran. ‘Captain Miller’ is a periodical action-adventure film set in the backdrop of 1930 and Priyanka Arul Mohan plays the female lead.

On the work front, Dhanush is presently busy shooting for Arun Matheswaran directorial ‘Captain Miller’. Touted to be an action-adventure film, the venture will be set against the backdrop of 1930 India. The movie also stars Sundeep Kishan and John Kokken. It is likely that the film will be released in the second half of 2023.
