Dhanush to reunite with Aanand L Rai for an action love story – Times of India

Dhanush once again charmed fans with his performance in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’ and there’s more in store from this hit actor-director duo. The seasoned star has signed up for two more interesting Bollywood movies. A source revealed, “Dhanush and Aanand L Rai have brilliant synergy together. After two runaway successes, the powerhouse actor-director duo are collaborating for an action love story produced by Aanand L Rai’s home banner Colour Yellow.” Dhanush will be seen in a full-blown commercial avatar in this upcoming project.

Apart from this, the South superstar will be seen essaying the lead in another big budget entertainer, the source added, “Dhanush has also signed another major Bollywood film with a celebrated production house. Owing to the massive acclaim he earned for Atrangi Re, several biggies are lining up to sign the actor.”

Earlier this month, Dhanush and his wife Aishwaryaa had announced their separation. The couple had shared in a joint statement on their respective social media accounts, “Eighteen years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting, and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this.”
