As India managed a below par 133 thanks to a horrendous batting performance, the Proteas comprehensively defeated Rohit Sharma and co. to go atop their group.
Barring Suryakumar Yadav, who was the lone warrior in the clash against South Africa — scoring 68 off 40 — the entire batting order crumbled like a pack of cards on a pace friendly Perth wicket.
