Deepika Padukone’s surprise cameo in Ranveer Singh’s ‘Cirkus’ wins the internet; fans say it was ‘best part of the #CirkusTrailer’ – Times of India
When the director described the film as a ‘comedy of errors’ fans were ready for all the drama, comedy, romance, chaos and confusion, but the team managed to pull off a big surprise with Deepika Padukone’s surprise cameo.
The actress appeared alongside Ranveer in a special song sequence, that fans are already declaring as the ‘Best part of Cirkus’.
Dressed in chic pink ethnic wear, the actress joins her husband on-screen for a up-beat dance sequence. “Them on screen after soo long,” a fan said while sharing a still of the two.

‘Cirkus’ marks Ranveer’s third collaboration with director Rohit after their smash hit ‘Simmba’ and the Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’, where he had an extended cameo appearance.
The movie also stars Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar, Mukesh Tiwari, and Marathi actor Siddharth Jadhav along with Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde and Varun Sharma.
‘Cirkus’ is said to be an important film for Ranveer as his last two movies – ’83’ and ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ – did not perform well at the box office.
On the work front, Ranveer also has the Karan Johar directorial ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with his ‘Gully Boy’ co-star Alia Bhatt. He will also share the screen with Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
