Deepika Padukone heads to the recording studio to dub for ‘Pathaan’, shares photo of her ‘work in progress’ – Times of India

With just three months to go before the release of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Pathaan’, the actress has officially begun dubbing for the film.

Sharing the exciting update with all her fans, the actress took to Instagram to post a photo from the dubbing studios. Sharing a click of the microphone, her script and a marker with a coffee mug close at hand, the actress captioned the post as, “#WIP #Pathaan’.

If rumours doing the rounds are true, then this photo comes just ahead of some new promotional content that is expected to drop on September 25. Over the past months, Deepika and her co-stars have been releasing character posters on the 25th of every month. Buzz is that a teaser or even a trailer release may just be around the corner.

Siddharth Anand, the director of the film, said in a statement, “Every announcement of ‘Pathaan’ is like revealing a piece of an epic puzzle, in front of the curious eyes of the fans and audiences, leading right up to our release day. We aspire for every asset of ‘Pathaan’ to be a big talking point mainly because, we, fortunately, have the content to create that buzz.”

The director also shared that he was happy with the kind of response the film’s posters have garnered over the past months. He said in a statement, “The first looks of SRK, Deepika Padukone and now John, truly represent the zone we want the audiences to view the film in. People have now just got a taste of the world of ‘Pathaan’. This truly is just the tip of the iceberg and I can assure you that nothing can prepare you for the action spectacle that is coming your way.”

‘Pathaan’ which will see SRK and Deepika reunite on-screen, will feature John as the antagonist. The movie is set to release on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
