Deepika Padukone celebrates 14 years of ‘Om Shanti Om’ as she embraces her 1st on-screen character Shanti Priya – Times of India

Taking to her Instagram stories, Deepika shared a heartwarming video from the iconic song ‘Aankhon Mein Teri Ajab Si’ featuring her co-star Shah Rukh Khan. The visual consisted of Deepika’s character stepping out of her car for her movie premiere, while SRK gets smitten seeing her that he almost faints.

Helmed by Farah Khan, till date, ‘Om Shanti Om’ is truly notable, as it brought alive the cinematic beauty of the 70s and 90s. The film was no less than a visual treat for the cinema lovers allowing one to travel back in time to the age-old filmy beauty.

Meanwhile on the work front, Deepika will be seen sharing the screen space yet again with hubby Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan’s ‘’83’, where he essays the role of cricketer Kapil Dev. She would be playing his on-screen wife Romi Dev.

Apart from that, the actress also has several interesting projects in her kitty which include Shakun Batra’s untitled next with Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi and Siddharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’ opposite Hrithik Roshan for the first time.

The actress will also be reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Pathan’ which also stars John Abraham in the lead role. She is also a part of Nag Ashwin’s next opposite Prabhas. She is also the part of the official remake of ‘The Intern’ with Amitabh Bachchan.
