Deepika Padukone asks fans to pick their favourite character as she joins ‘That’s Not My Name’ trend; Ranveer Singh and Anisha Padukone win hearts with their replies – Times of India

With the release date of her much-awaited film ‘Gehraiyaan’, drawing close, Deepika turned back her film reel to share a video montage of all her much-loved characters like Shanti Priya from ‘Om Shanti Om’ to Naina from ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, Piku from ‘Piku’ and Alisha, from the upcoming film ‘Gehraiyaan’.

The video ends with a funny clip from Deepika’s film ‘Chennai Express’ that featured superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.

While fans battled it out in the comments section, hubby Ranveer Singh joined in to help sway the votes. However, his answer summed up the internet’s reaction.

“It’s a toughie,” the hunk wrote.

Meanwhile, sister Anisha Padukone overlooked all her sister’s characters to say, “My fav = YOU.”

Both the replies have since been winning hearts online.

Another star who slipped into the comments section was Shweta Bachchan Nanda. The star picked Deepika’s character Piku as her favourite. We can only wonder if this choice had something to do with dad Amitabh Bachchan playing the male lead in the film that also starred the late Irrfan Khan.
