Decoding Diwali Divas: Sonam Kapoor to Katrina Kaif, Stars Who Nailed Festive Fashion This Year

Diwali 2022 celebrations in B-Town was a starry affair! From the Bachchans to the Kapoors, every star family had the who’s who of the film industry attend in their traditional best. While lehengas, and sarees turned showstoppers this year, there were some unconventional silhouettes including co-ord sets and kaftans making a stylish entrance too.

Bold reds, gracious greens and sparkling golds glammed up silhouettes adorned by Bollywood divas. Be it Anushka Sharma’s Sabyasachi saree, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja celebrating the festivities in Anamika Khanna or Kiara Advani in Manish Malhotra saree, every ensemble worn by the actresses added cheer to the festivities. The OG is back and all we can say is welcome back! Sonam Kapoor Ahuja doesn’t fail to impress with their styling. From kaftans to lehengas and unconventional styling, this Diwali, the new B-Town mom aced every look with panache. The black kaftan styled ensemble designed by Anamika was one of the first looks Sonam posted during the festive season. The embellished yoke featuring Anamika’s signature thread work and designs accentuated the fluid silhouette. Sonam gave a traditional spin to a consciously crafted lehenga set designed by label Re ceremonial. The label, which uses handwoven recycled silk and cotton to create beautiful ensembles, complemented Sonam’s personality to the T.

The woman of the hour, this Diwali is a special one for Anushka Sharma. For one, Virat Kohli did give India a sweet victory on Diwali and two, Anushka gave fans a glimpse into her Diwali look. Dressed in a lime green Sabyasachi saree, the actor looked ethereal in the traditional avatar. The sequin laden sleeveless blouse added sparkle to her overall look.
