Srivalli is an enormously popular song from the recent Bollywood movie Pushpa: The Rise that has seen over 115 million views online while the movie raked in $53 million at the box office.

The Hindi version of the Srivalli video is reportedly the most-watched song on YouTube and fans across India delight in emulating the dance moves.

It seems Warner’s moves weren’t off the cuff, either. In December last year he posted a video to Instagram of him practising his Srivalli dancing.

He even wore the black and white shirt, black pants and sunglasses that are the hallmarks of the character who dances to the song in Pushpa.

The lead star of Pushpa: The Rise, Allu Arjun, even responded to the David Warner’s recreation of his dance moves.

He commented with emojis, first expressing delighted laughter, then appreciation, followed by admiration for Warner’s moves.
