David Bakhtiari trolls Aaron Rodgers over Packers QB’s first tattoo

Green Bay Packers offensive lineman David Bakhtiari may have Aaron Rodgers’ back on the football field, but when it comes to his new tattoo he was ruthless.

Aaron Rodgers debuted a tattoo on his arm featuring lions, constellations and other elaborate symbols.

The piece no doubt took a tattoo artist plenty of time and precision to craft with so many intricate lines and elements.

While many of Rodgers’ Packers teammates like Allen Lazard gave the quarterback positive feedback on Instagram, offensive lineman David Bakhtiari went the brotherly route by mercilessly teasing him.

“..I hope this is a henna tattoo,” Bakhtiari replied on Rodgers’ Instagram post.

It’s pretty clear that Bakhtiari was just engaging in some friendly ribbing here. Someone has to keep Rodgers from getting too serious.

Rodgers and Bakhtiari have been teammates for a long time, since the Packers drafted the offensive lineman in 2013.

Bakhtiari is trying to get back from a torn ACL which cost him most of the 2021 season. He’s played just one game since late 2020 when the injury occurred. He was coming off his third Pro Bowl and second All-Pro first-team nod at the time.

The Packers have been eager to get their star tackle back protecting Rodgers but the process has been concerningly slow and head coach Matt LaFleur seems to be hedging bets on his return.

Having Bakhtiari slinging jokes at Rodgers is fun. Having him keeping Rodgers’ jersey clean would be even better for Green Bay fans.
