Crazy fan arrested third time after sending death threat to actress Arunima Ghosh – Times of India

The man has been arrested for allegedly harassing and sending death threats to the popular actress. Incidentally, this is the third time the person has been arrested against the same complaint.

Arunima whose last film ‘Sororipu 2 – Jotugriho’ was released during Durga Puja this year had earlier filed a complaint with the police due to the constant harassment and threats from the accused. According to the investigators, this man named Mukesh Shaw has been abusing the actress for the past two years. He has even threatened to kill the actress. On Sunday night, the man went to the actress’ house and that’s when Arunima decided enough is enough. She again lodged a complaint.

The accused who lives in Survey Park was earlier jailed for 11 and 8 days, respectively, for threatening and abusing the actress on social media sites.

Speaking about the nightmares of such harassment, the actress shares, “I have seen Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Daar’ a long time ago. I liked the film so much and at the same time laughed. Is this obsession really possible? But now I know it happens in real life too. The reel-life incident turned out to be a real-life one for me. Believe me, I felt so scared. The threats I received were so pathetic that calling them dirty will be an underestimate. Death threat, acid attack – I have received threats of all kinds. I think he’s a mental patient because no normal person will act like this. I think he needs some serious treatment.”

When appreciation steps a bit further in the world of insanity, obsession starts. So, why is it obsession?
