Couple Orders McDonald’s Food For Wedding Guests, ‘Brilliant’ Says Internet
A wedding is said to be one of the most memorable days of our lives. We all look forward to attending wedding ceremonies, enjoying the music as well as indulging in good food and drinks. Typically, wedding feasts are expected to be quite lavish with five-course meals and plenty of variety in terms of cuisines. A couple from the UK, however, decided to do things differently. As per reports, a food-loving bride went against the norms of the traditional wedding feast and ordered McDonald’s food for her wedding guests!
As per a report in Mirror UK, the couple spent around $1000 or Rs. 82,000 approximately on her wedding catering by ordering from McDonald’s. The couple ordered items like 100 double cheeseburgers, 100 pieces of junior chicken, and 150 fries. They placed the order from Uber Eats ahead of their big day on October 15 last year.

The bride, Izzy Baretto, originally belongs to Toronto, Canada and she said she always wanted to do something against the norm. “We wanted to do something that wasn’t super traditional. Everyone loves a McDonald’s after a night of drinking and we knew our guests would love it. Our caterer offered us late-night food but we turned it down as we wanted to do something fun,” said Baretto to Mirror. She also said that the idea was a hit, “Our guests absolutely loved the idea. We also let them take McDonald’s home so it was a win-win scenario.”
The UK couple also shared a video of the McDonald’s food at their wedding on social media. Internet users loved the idea as they found it a frugal yet delicious way to feed wedding guests. “This is actually brilliant…I need some chicken nuggets and a Mcdonald’s diet Coke,” commented one user. “If there are no burgers at my wedding I don’t want it,” added another one.
