Construction continues on Tom Brady’s $17m Miami mansion, despite divorce from Gisele Bundchen

Tom Brady’s $17million Miami mansion is shaping up as he readies for a do-or-die Wildcard game vs. Dallas on Monday night. 

In the meantime, construction continues to quicken as exclusive DailyMail.com photos show workers at the property continuing to build the mega mansion located on Indian Creek Island, ‘the world’s most exclusive municipality’ with just 34 properties available across 300 acres – all of which have waterfront views of Biscayne Bay, near Miami, Florida.

DailyMail.com got a first look of the property last year showing the construction in its early phases, but in these new aerial photos taken Sunday it’s clear that production has moved forward exponentially. 

The palatial spot was meant to be he and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen’s forever home after Brady took his talents to Tampa Bay, following six Super Bowls in New England.

Though on October 28, 2022 the supercouple announced their divorce, ending 13 years of marriage.

Brady will be a free agent following the NFL postseason and given his newly single lifestyle, he is widely expected to play on. Though the 45-year-old won’t be rushing to a decision on retirement, relocation to a different franchise or indeed remaining with Tampa Bay.

He and Bundchen made plans to move to the high-security enclave – dubbed Billionaire Bunker – after they purchased the $17million property in late 2020. They tore down a pre-existing 5,772-square-foot home on the lot and are erecting a state-of-the-art eco-friendly mansion in its place. 

Less than half a square mile in size, the island has been a magnet for billionaires, celebrities and power couples who’ve sought it out because it its privacy and security. 

Once construction is complete, Brady will be neighbors with Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, hotel magnate Jeffrey Soffer and billionaire investor Carl Icahn.

The 1.8-acre property encompasses three buildings – a main house, a security post and a gym. 

Floor plans of the home obtained by the Post shows that it spans an enormous 17,000 square feet, and includes five bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, along with an elevator, a movie theatre and a guest suite.

Not far away will be his ex-wife, Bündchen, who reportedly bought an $11.5 million mansion directly across the waterway weeks before the couple finalized their divorce.

The mansion appears to be almost directly across the waterway from her now ex-husband Brady’s home, which is under construction on Indian Creek Island.

Bündchen first viewed the mansion on August 16, just days before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback took an 11-day break from playing in the NFL, a source told Page Six. The break was a last attempt to save the relationship, it was reported.

Her reported new digs are in Surfside while Brady’s mansion is on the waterfront of Biscayne Bay.

Together, the former couple owned numerous properties across the country – including a $3.6m apartment in New York City, a $17m mansion located on Miami’s Indian Creek Island, a lavish estate in Yellowstone, Montana, that’s reportedly worth $5.7m, and a stunning home in Costa Rica.

Brady and Bündchen have two children together – a son Benjamin, 12, and a daughter, Vivian, 9. Brady also has a 15-year-old son, Jack Moynahan, from a previous relationship with actor Bridget Moynahan.
