Pathaan, Shehzada, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke: Analysing Bollywood trends, hits and misses in first half of 2023 – #BigStory

Bollywood’s 2023 first half has been unpredictable with both star-led and small-budget movies delivering surprises. While star power generates initial hype and audience footfalls, the content ultimately determines long-term success. Romcoms, as a popular and enduring genre, still resonate with

downgrading your career (sic).”

Not one to hold back in her feelings, the fan named Khushi added, “During Heropanti 2 time, we Tigerians had high hopes, then after watching the trailer it goes down, then after film release we were highly disappointed and got lost. And now again you’re going to do same mistake.”

“After this, you selected films like Ganapath, BMCM etc with amazing directors. We were happy that you will make your comeback stronger… Now you’re giving hints of B4 which is breaking the hearts of every Tigerian,” she said and signed off with a “Thank you.”
Reacting to the strongly worded post, Tiger took heed of the concerns and vowed to take all the mentioned points into consideration going forward. Replying to the post, the actor said, “Hi Khushi. Thank you so much for your concern and advice. Don’t worry ill make you proud again… will keep everything in mind.”

This is not the first time that fans have reached out to the actor to stop him from making the film. Last year, shortly after the makers announced the fourth part of the film franchise, fans took to social media to warn him against taking up the film and asked him to opt out of the project.

With no indication that the film has been scrapped, rumours are rife that actress Sara Ali Khan has been approached to star alongside Tiger in the upcoming film. Reports stated that the beauty was eyed to star in the sequel, however, as she couldn’t take it up then, she is among the front runners to star in the upcoming film.
Meanwhile, Tiger is gearing up to release his next film ‘Ganapath’ with Kriti Sanon. The movie directed by Vikas Bahl is slated to release on October 20, 2023.

The film revolves around the vigilante Ganapath living in a dystopian future, fighting a criminal empire that has taken over his city. He becomes a symbol of hope for the oppressed living in darkness.
Made on a budget of Rs 150 crore, ‘Ganapath Part 1’ also marks Tiger’s on-screen reunion with Kriti Sanon. It will be their first film together since their debuts in the 2014 romantic-action film ‘Heropanti’.
Tiger also has ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ in the pipeline in which he will share the screen with Akshay Kumar.
