Class 10, 12 exam date sheet not released, viral exam dates on social media are fake: CBSE
Unofficial date sheets of CBSE board class 10 and Class 12 have been doing rounds on social media from the last couple of days. In the widely circulated “date sheet” over WhatsApp it is stated that the Class 12th exam will start with English on February 15 and will conclude on April 9 with language subjects, Mass Media studies. It also stated that the Class 10, 12 exams 2023 will be held in two shifts; morning shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, while afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
However, the board has now categorically denied that the date sheet on the social media is fake and no such official notification has been issues yet by the board.
Meanwhile, earlier CBSE had indicated that the board exam may start from February 15 next year. The board has said that the official CBSE Class 10, 12 datesheets will be available on the official website- cbse.gov.in, when announced.
CBSE has already released the sample papers for Class 10, 12 exams 2023. The students who are appearing for the board exams can download the sample papers on the board’s official website- cbseacademic.nic.in and practice it. The 10th, 12th subject-wise sample papers on Mathematics, Science, English, Physics, Chemistry, Social Science, Sanskrit, English, Computer Application, Geography and Home Science is available on the CBSE’s website.
According to the sample papers, the new pattern of the exam has 25 per cent objective and 75 per cent subjective for both CBSE Class 10 and 12.
CBSE has also released the marking scheme for all the subjects.
