Cirkus teaser: Rohit Shetty, Ranveer Singh and company will take you to the 1960’s – Times of India

The teaser of one of the most anticipated movies of the year, Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ is out now, and yet, everyone still awaits the trailer. ‘Cirkus’ stars Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma in double roles while Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez play the female leads in the film. But it’s also the ensemble cast which forms a major USP of a Rohit Shetty film most often and this time, it’s no different. The film also stars Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Tiku Talsania, Ashwini Kalsekar, Brijendra Kala, Mukesh Tiwari among others.

The teaser of ‘Cirkus’ takes us back in time. We can see the entire cast of the film sitting together like one big family. So much so, that for few seconds you wonder if you’re watching the teaser of a Rohit Shetty film or Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Hum Aapke Hai Koun..!’ But that’s the whole purpose of ‘Cirkus’ it seems as the film promises to take the viewers back to the 60s. We see the cast and crew talking to us about a time when there was news, not breaking news and the love from your parents was more important than ‘likes’ on social media. The full fledged trailer of the film will be out on December 2.

Clearly, ‘Cirkus’ aims to target the family audience on the whole and not just the Gen Z of today. Hence, one hopes this one will turn out to be a wholesome, mad, family entertainer. The trailer of the film will be out on December 2 while ‘Cirkus’ is set to hit the screens this Christmas, on December 23.
