Chrome: Google Chrome lets users add notes for passwords, here’s how to do it – Times of India
Now, Chrome already takes care of password management for users from suggesting a strong password, remembering them to checking them for their integrity. Now, the new Password Manager on Chrome lets users add notes for the passwords and personalise them as per their needs.
Here’s how you can add notes for passwords in Chrome.
Why you need notes for saved passwords
The main reason behind adding notes for passwords could be remembering some key details about that particular website. For instance, it can be a membership number or other key details that you, in case, need to remember. Also, the feature can come in handy for storing additional information that otherwise is hard to remember.
If you are fine being creative, you can also use the password manager’s notes feature to hide some information as it is well protected by PIN, password and other authentication methods.
