Christian Pulisic is attracting keen interest from AC Milan and Juventus
Christian Pulisic is attracting keen interest from AC Milan and Juventus – with the USMNT captain primed to follow Chelsea team-mate Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Serie A
Chelsea midfielder Christian Pulisic is wanted by AC Milan but also has interest from Juventus.
The USMNT captain has had a turbulent season in west London against the chaotic backdrop of Chelsea’s first campaign under new ownership, struggling for playing time under all four of the Blues’ managers in 2022-23.
With Milan preparing for a sizeable windfall with the planned departure of star midfielder Sandro Tonali to Newcastle, the Serie A side are looking to bolster their ranks with a raft of attacking talent.
Pulisic’s team-mate, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, became the fourth Chelsea player to leave during this summer’s window, following moves for N’Golo Kante and Kalidou Koulibaly to the Saudi Pro League, and Mateo Kovacic’s signing for Manchester City on Tuesday evening.
The academy product has joined the Milanese club for £18.5million, and the Blues are hopeful that the American winger will command a higher fee.

But despite Pulisic’s scant minutes over the last season, Milan may face competition both from domestic rivals and clubs across the European top flight.
Juventus and Napoli have both tracked the player, with the Old Lady increasingly interested in the 24-year-old.
Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Crystal Palace have also earmarked Pulisic for a potential move, as have Ligue 1 side Lyon.
Whilst Pulisic has had a frustrating time on the domestic front, internationally, his star continues to rise.

Competing for the US national team in post-season, Pulisic netted a brace in their CONCACAF Nations League semi-final tie against Mexico, before captaining the side to victory against Canada to claim their second consecutive title.
Pulisic will don the armband on Wednesday for the first match of the team’s CONCACAF Gold Cup campaign, which sees USMNT play Saint Kitts and Nevis in their first group stage tie.
Should Pulisic make the decision to move on from Stamford Bridge after four years in the capital, he is unlikely to be the last player to do so during the window.
Having spent freely in the previous two transfer windows, the Blues are keen to see a number of players leave the squad not only to reduce its swollen ranks, but to ensure compliance with Financial Fair Play regulations and their recruiting abilities in the market this summer.
