Chris Hemsworth-Christian Bale’s ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ to release in India on July 7, day before USA release – Times of India

While the world waits to watch Chris Hemsworth go up against Christian Bale in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, fans in India will get to catch the film a day before its release in the USA.

On Friday, it was announced that the film will release in theatres across India on 7th July, 2022. Considering the huge Marvel fanbase in India, the film will now join the long list of MCU movies that were released in the country, a day before its worldwide debut.

Fans of the God of Thunder will get to watch him in action on the big screen, 3 years after he appeared in ‘Avengers: Endgame’.

‘Thor Love and Thunder’ will see the blockbuster duo Hemsworth and director Taika Waititi reuniting after the success of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’. Waititi, who plays the character Korg also featured alongside Hemsworth in the events of ‘Endgame’.

The film is the sequel to 2017’s ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and marks Thor’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe following ‘Avengers: Endgame’ in 2019. Also starring Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Waititi as Korg and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, the film will see Thor attempting to find inner peace, only to be hindered by Gorr’s killing spree.

Christian Bale, most famous for his role as Batman in the ‘Dark Knight’ trilogy, will be swinging back in action, but this time as the villain, Gorr. Fans got a first look of the character in the film’s trailer that was released last month.

‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ will have a wide release in Indian and will also be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
