Chiefs scoop and score touchdown after Eagles’ Hurts fumbles

The Kansas City Chiefs managed to tie it 14-14 in the second quarter of Super Bowl LVII thanks to a fumble from Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.

A false start penalty for Philadelphia roughly five minutes into the stanza set the table as the Eagles had a third and inches opportunity erased and they were pushed back to their own 49-yard line.

Then things went from bad to worse for Philadelphia.

Hurts fumbled as he made contact with Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton, who scooped up the ball and took it all the way back into the end zone.

Kansas City kicker Harrison Butker nailed the extra point to knot it up 14-all.

Hurts recovered on the ensuing drive capped with his second rushing touchdown of the game to put the Eagles back into the lead.
