Jorginho’s agent strikes again in talking up a potential exit from Chelsea… claiming a return to Italy is a ‘dream’ for the midfielder, who ‘could go to Milan, Inter, Juventus, Roma or Napoli’

Jorginho’s agent has again suggested the Chelsea midfielder could leave the crisis-ridden club, claiming it is the Italian’s ‘dream’ to return to Serie A.
Joao Santos said Jorginho could join ‘AC Milan, Inter, Juventus, Roma or Napoli’ while revealing he had previously held talks with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain regarding the 30-year-old.
Jorginho’s future at Stamford Bridge has been plunged into doubt as Chelsea are banned from extending the deals of any current members of Thomas Tuchel’s squad because of the sanctions imposed on Roman Abramovich by the UK Government.
The Italian star, who has won the Champions League and Club World Cup with Chelsea, is out of contract at the West London club in the summer of 2023.

While Santos has previously insisted Jorginho’s priority was to extend his deal, the agent has claimed several clubs are interesting in securing the player’s signature.
Juventus are thought to have given the strongest indication that they wish to lure Jorginho back to his homeland.
‘Playing in Serie A is a dream for him and his heart remains here,’ Santos told Tuttomercatoweb.
‘As things stand today, he could play for four or five clubs: Milan, Inter, Juve, Roma or Napoli.

‘There are many clubs interested in him. In the past I spoke to PSG, Barcelona and also Milan’s Ricky Massara. I don’t know if the Rossoneri are still interested, though.
‘The fact remains, we can’t do anything now because Chelsea are not allowed to sell, buy or renew contracts. Jorginho has a contract until June 2023, after the World Cup we’ll see about working on a renewal.’
Jorginho has been linked with a return to Italy on numerous occasions over the course of the past 12 months, having made 179 appearances for the Blues since signing in a £57million deal from Napoli in 2018.

But the most pressing matter regarding his future is whether Chelsea can lift the sanctions imposed on them by finding and then confirming a new owner to replace Abramovich, who as a close ally of Vladimir Putin’s was sanctioned following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The deadline for bidders to submit their interest in purchasing the club fell last Friday.
The potential buyers have been told to expect notification of the shortlisted bids later this week in what is developing into a competitive auction.
