On Neelam’s birthday last year, Sidharth had shared, “Happiest of birthdays to @neelamupadhyaya. You have been a great inspiration and an amazing soul to know. Wish you a very very happy birthday. While in July, Neelam had shared a loving post to mark Siddharth’s birthday. Quoting Maza Dohta, the actress had shared, “There are some feelings you will never find words for; you will learn to name them after the ones who gave them to you” and had added #HappyBirthdayBoo.

Previously, when Priyanka Chopra was asked if her brother was in a relationship with actress Neelam Upadhyaya, she had told Mumbai Mirror, “I don’t speak about other people’s life because it’s not my business. You should ask him when you meet him next.” Siddharth Chopra was previously engaged to Ishita Kumar. The couple also had a glamorous roka ceremony in New Delhi but the wedding was “mutually” called off in a few months.
