September 25th was a long time ago. The sun was out, we had the whole season ahead of us, and out of nowhere the Jacksonville Jaguars pounded Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers 38-10. A lot has happened since then, but maybe we can learn from that Week 3 blowout to pinpoint our anytime touchdown bets for the Chargers and Jaguars in the Wild Card round.

Back in Week 3, the Chargers let James Robinson run for 100 yards on just 17 carries and Robinson found the end zone. Now, Robinson is gone and Etienne is the lead back in Jacksonville, but the Chargers still can’t stop the run. They’re allowing 145.8 rushing yards on the season and for their last three games, they’re giving up 146.7. Staley doesn’t allocate the resources necessary to stop the run and that’ll cost the Chargers against Etienne. He only got seven carries for 17 yards against Tennessee, but the Titans are No. 1 in the NFL against the run.
Trevor Lawrence +350
The Chargers are very good against the pass, especially lately. Over their past three games, they’re only allowing 160.3 passing yards. That’s 40 yards better than their season average. Lawrence is very athletic and he can use his size in the red zone as a runner. He has five rushing touchdowns this season and I wouldn’t be surprised if he ran one in this week. Especially if he’s continually struggling to find open receivers.

Don’t worry Chargers fans, I’ve got a pick for you too. Everett didn’t do much against Jacksonville in Week 3, but if we look at Week 18 we can see that he’s a great bet to score. He had three grabs for eight yards and a touchdown for the Chargers but more importantly, the Jaguars struggled with Chig Okonwo and Austin Hooper for Tennessee. Okonkwo had three catches for 42 yards and a touchdown and Hooper had four for 38 yards. That’s a lot of catches and yards for the tight end position.
