Indian film actress Deepika Padukone left international media stunned with her true Indian beauty and impeccable style. The actress, who is at Cannes to attend the 75th edition of the prestigious Festival de Cannes is slaying one look at a time and no one is complaining.

While her looks on Day 1 created quite a lot of flutter on social media, especially the tiger-inspired Sabyasachi sari, her look on Day 2 has set the internet on fire. Thanks to an expensive accessory she sported.

Styled by Shaleena Nathani, Deepika rocked an asymmetric fitted jacket with open pleats on the right side and hidden metal hook closure in the front from ArdAzAei. She was spotted at the Indian pavilion at Cannes.

The ensemble featured structural double weave silk with stretch elastane added for comfort. Worn with tailored, slightly flared high waisted trousers in the same silk fabric.

But, it was a piece of accessory that has made the look go viral. Well, Deepika opted to wear a very expensive neckpiece. The Indian actress flaunted the very popular ‘Panthere De Cartier’ necklace by Cartier.

The necklace features 18K white gold, emerald eyes, onyx spots and brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 19.05 carats. Believe it or not, it costs INR 3.8 crore approximately.

The necklace belongs to the Panthere collection of Cartier. The panther, the symbolic animal of Cartier, made its first appearance in the Maison’s collections in 1914. Louis Cartier was the first to tame the mythic animal, and his colleague Jeanne Toussaint turned it into a legend. The panther can be fierce, playful, or lovable, displaying all the facets of its liberated personality from one collection to the next.

Deepika is part of the prestigious jury for the 75th annual Cannes Film Festival, and the jury members of Cannes are appointed by the Cannes Film Festival board of directors, who hold the sole responsibility of choosing which films will receive an award. Jury members are chosen from a wide range of international artists, based on their body of work and respect from their peers.
